The 20-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer, recently missed the Wimbledon Championships, as he was still recovering from his knee surgery. Since last year’s Wimbledon Championships, the Swiss player has not played on the tour.

Meanwhile, Federer has been traveling around, attending many events. Most of the time, he was alone and not with his family. However, recently, a few photos surfaced on social media, where the Swiss Maestro was seen spending some quality time with his family in Greece.

Roger Federer is on holiday with family in Greece

According to a few pictures, which surfaced on Twitter, Roger Federer is in Greece with his wife Mirka and children. Reportedly, he is on Paros Island near the Aegean sea. You can see the pictures below.

Notably, this is the first time we have seen him with his family in a while, as he was previously seen traveling alone to many places, like Venis, Malawi, Barcelona, and others. However, he was traveling to some of those places for his foundation, i.e. the Roger Federer Foundation. Other than that, he was in Barcelona to enjoy the F1 race at the Barcelona GP.

Recently, he went to Wimbledon to be a part of the Centenary celebration of the Centre Court. Not only Federer, but many former champions were also invited to the celebration.

Federer talks about coming back to the Centre Court at Wimbledon Championships

As Federer stepped onto the Centre Court, the crowd were on their feet, cheering for the Swiss legend. Notably, he is the only male player to have secured the most Wimbledon titles, i.e. 8 times. Speaking about it, Federer said, “It feels awkward to be here today in a different type of role. It’s great to be here with all the other champions. This court has given me my biggest wins and my biggest losses. I hope I can come back one more time.”

Meanwhile, Federer has already announced his return to the Laver Cup in September this year. Later, he will make his official return to the ATP tour in the Swiss Indoors Basel, his home tournament in October. Safe to say fans are pretty excited to see the Swiss Maestro back on the tennis court.
