‘Swiss Maestro’ Roger Federer recently bid a teary-eyed farewell to tennis. The 41-year-old has ruled the heart of every tennis fan in his long career. Apart from his prowess in the sport, the legend also charmed us with his amazing looks and infectious smile. The above-mentioned qualities make Federer a perfect candidate for commercial advertisements. Over the years, Federer appeared in various commercials. Recently, the 41-year-old shot one with the South African-American comedian, Trevor Noah.

Federer has kept a low profile after his emotional retirement last year. The 20-time Grand Slam champion spent most of his time with family after his Laver Cup farewell. However, the fans were finally able to track him down. The 41-year-old is currently in Zurich.

As we can see in the pictures that went viral recently, the former world number 1 is currently shooting for Swiss tourism. We can also see popular South African comedian Trevor Noah alongside him.

Federer declines offer to feature in the Australian Open

Roger Federer was away from the court for quite some time. The 41-year-old finally returned to action in the Laver Cup after sending out his intention to retire from professional tennis. Federer played a doubles match in the tournament with his long-time rival and friend, Rafael Nadal. As it happened to be Federer’s last match, Tennis Australia was quick to send him an invitation to attend the Australian Open.

However, Federer declined the offer. The 41-year-old wants to spend some quality time with his family.

However, Tennis Australia hasn’t given up yet and is in talks to bring Federer back next season. In 2024, Federer will complete 20 years of his first Australian Open title win. And Tennis Australia would like to celebrate it in the presence of the legend himself. It’s not confirmed if he will travel to Australia next year but for now, it will be a disappointment for Federer fans in Australia.
