The issue that emerged at the Wimbledon Championships between Tsitsipas and Nick Kyrgios has taken a whole new form. It’s been months since the incident, but the bitter feelings, instead of fading away have become stronger.

Stefanos Tsitsipas challenges Kyrgios to a rematch

Recently, a clip from his Costa Navarino trip landed the social media platforms and experienced floods of response from fans. As in the video, apart from playing golf and enjoying diving, the Greek can be seen challenging Kyrgios for a rematch. He said, “Mr. Kyrgios please come to Costa Navarino. I’d like a revenge match.”

“And no talking this time,” he added. The Aussie and Tsitsipas engaged in a war of words during the third-round clash at Wimbledon and both received a fine. Though what seems to still bug the former world no.3 is the defeat. He failed to advance to the last 16 of the grass-based Grand Slam, even though he gave a good start to the match.

However, he bounced back pretty quickly and stormed the Cincinnati-based Masters event. The ATP no.6 thrashed high-caliber players such as Daniil Medvedev to book a finals match with Rafael Nadal slayer Borna Coric. But in the finals, he couldn’t outdo Coric’s game and lost his first trophy since Mallorca Open.
