British ATP star Jack Draper is a scene-stealer! Known to “enjoy being in front of the camera,” Draper’s height and charismatic looks already have a separate fan base. But despite loving the spotlight, Draper is still somewhat clueless about celebrities and glamour. As he became the British number-one tennis player, the 22-year-old brought an unbelievable surprise with his “who she was” comment about Zendaya.

In an interview with Vogue, British ATP star Jack Draper revealed that he likes the camera and the glamour following it. “I quite enjoy being in front of the camera, If I’m looking good, that is.”  This 6-fit 4-inch IMG model also revealed that he has no qualms about changing his looks as he had already “ done a buzzcut, mohawk, mullet.”

Draper’s fondness for the flashing lights was more evident when he said previously, “It’s my job to go out there and play in front of whoever it is – and the more people watching, or the more significant the people watching, the better, I’m not that great with celebrities.” Despite being a popular face in magazines from tennis, Draper seemed to be a little taken aback when asked about the tennis movie taking over cinemas this summer – Challengers.

When the reporter asked him whether Challengers‘ steamy scenes are real in professional tennis, Draper laughed, “I wouldn’t know much about that...We were at the US Open last year and everyone was making a big fuss over this girl who walked in and I had no idea who she was. I think she was called Zendaya?” said Draper.

Draper defeated Matteo Berrettini by 3-6, 7-6, and 6-4 to earn his career’s first ATP tour title. Following this victory, Jack Draper reached the ATP number-one in Britain. After walking in the footsteps of Murray and Norrie, Draper said, “It fills me with a lot of pride and confidence, To be in this position I’m in now is a great privilege. It’s honestly something I’ve wanted since I was younger. It’s amazing. I’ve been working so hard, doing the right things for such a long time now, that I knew my time was going to come in one of these events.”

Even with his side hustling of modeling with his athletic pursuits, Draper is giving it his all to tennis and slowly rising up the ranks. While his lack of knowledge about Zendaya and Challengers came as shocking to his fans, but with his tennis skills, Draper won the hearts of many, establishing himself as a tennis player first, then a person who likes the camera.
