Nick Kyrgios is known as the Badboy on the tennis court for his fiery intensity. While some tennis fans appreciate his open style, others find it quite unpleasant for a tennis player to act in such an unusual way. But very few people know what the 27-year-old had to endure to achieve this position in the tennis world. Recently, his sister, Halimah Kyrgios, offered her sentimental perspective on her brother facing a lot of unwarranted hate.
The Australian is currently not competing professionally due to an injury he sustained in January of this year. That, however, didn’t stop him from appearing in the second part of the Netflix docuseries BreakPoint. But this time, in addition to the 27-year-old and his fiancée, his sister, and father were also featured in the series.

In the first episode of BreakPoint’s second season, the 2022 Wimbledon finalist, is seen as one of the primary characters of the episode. He talked about his mental fatigue, and how his parents have been one of the biggest supporters during his tough time. And while the Australian tennis star highlighted apart from him, his parents also receive a lot of hate.
During the conversation, his sister, broke down as she disclosed his arduous journey in an unfiltered confession. She said, “I just don’t know what happened. I have just never seen someone go through, and that’s why sometimes… My God, I get so upset when someone says bad things about him because they don’t know.”
Halimah literally had tears in her eyes, while trying to vent that her brother has been through a lot. Not only that, the 27-year-old himself revealed that he also thought of committing suicide at a point in his life. When he faced the biggest downfall of his tennis career. However, leaving everything aside, it’s time for the 2022 Wimbledon Finalist to move past all this negativity.

And last year, after facing a heavy backlash, for his obsessive rank against the chair Empire at the ATP Houston 2022. Kyrgios made a clear statement regarding the criticism he gets from tennis fans on a regular basis.
Kyrgios’ strong statement on facing continuous backlash
In Houston’s U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championships last year, the Australian tennis player fell short to Reilly Opelka in an exciting semifinal match. The game was dramatic because Kyrgios could not control his feelings and expressed his annoyance with the chair Empire.

He confronted the chair Empire about a potentially poor call, and in the ensuing rage, he yelled at him. Due to this, he also received the penalty point; but, following the competition, he used his Instagram account to write a tale in which he discussed how he had come to the point where he no longer cared. He added that while he is a wonderful person, he cannot make other people realize his value.
