Nick Kyrgios had a great start of the year in tennis. He had performed well in the Indian Wells, Miami Open, and ATP Houston. However, on the note of penalties that he had to face because of his outbursts on-court, he had been not so lucky. He has had to face the wrath of ATP as well as the masses. After the outrage at the Houston outburst, he faced the brunt of the crowd. Nick has taken to Instagram and has responded to the reactions he has been getting because of that.

Nick Kyrgios in ATP Houston
Nick Kyrgios is known for his aggressive play as well as attitude. He has had rough exchanges during the matches not only with umpires but also with the masses. He has also shown his displeasure towards the reporters, pointing it out. During the ATP Houston semi-finals against American player Reilly Opelka, Nick showed frustration towards the chair umpire and he lost his temper. People took to social media to criticize him and showed discontent towards him in harsh language.

Nick now took to his Instagram and posted a story of a post that says, “Think I finally reached the point where I don’t care anymore. I’m a good person. I can’t force people to see my worth.” He had also reiterated this during his interview in a press conference that he is a different person when he is off the court.

Kyrgios in 2022
Kyrgios has been doing very well since the start of the year 2022. He won the Australian Open Doubles along with his partner, Thanasi Kokkinakis. He did well on the subsequent tours as well. Nick Kyrgios has also made a plan to play Roland Garros which has excited his fans. He has not taken part in the clay court’s grand slam for the past four years.
