Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic is in tremendous form right now. After missing out on the Australian Open and losing in the Quarterfinal of the Roland Garros, he has played brilliantly on the grass. Djokovic had a brilliant 2021 season. The 35-year-old lifted three out of four Grand Slams last year. Unfortunately, he missed out on a chance of a calendar Grand slam as he lost in the US Open finals.

In pursuit of his fourth consecutive Wimbledon title, the Serb has looked Imperious. En route to the final of yet another Wimbledon Championships, the 35-year-old also created a unique record. However, the record did not particularly impress former tennis star, Martina Navratilova.
Martina Navratilova’s reaction to Djokovic’s winning streak on Wimbledon Centre Court
Novak Djokovic has won the last three Wimbledon Championships titles. Adding to that, he has already qualified for this year’s final. Owing to his fantastic performance, the top 20-time Grand Slam champion has also created a unique record. Djokovic holds the record for most consecutive wins on the Wimbledon Centre Court (37). However, American tennis legend Martina Navratilova believes it is not a great achievement to have a winning streak on a particular court, as she didn’t get many matches to play on the center court.

Further, she praised Djokovic for his consistency.?“but amazing consistency and excellence by Novak, that?s for sure!” She added.
Navratilova’s response gives rise to an intriguing question though. Are male players preferred on the Center Court of Wimbledon?
Novak Djokovic to face Nick Kyrgios in the Wimbledon Championships final

Djokovic is all set to play in yet another final of the Wimbledon Championships. His opponent will be the 27-year-old Australian tennis player, Nick Kyrgios. While Djokovic will be playing for a fourth consecutive title, it will be the first time Kyrgios will play a Wimbledon final.
If we have a look at the campaign of both, Djokovic has been rampant for the most part while Kyrgios has had some tough matches as well.
