During the interview, host Andy Cohen, claimed that the actress was portrayed negatively in the memoir, to which Shields responded by saying that it wasn’t as awful as it could have been and that it wasn’t Agassi’s purpose. “With all due respect, I did not come across as badly as people might have thought that he wanted. That’s not who he is. He’s not an evil person.” said the American actress.

She further said, “I come out a little bit, like, you kind of feel for me more. I think he did himself in in it, but he’s not a horrible person. And his intention was not that. … I didn’t feel attacked.“
