World No.4 Stefanos Tsitsipas is having the time of his life both on and off the court. His much-talked-about romance with Spanish WTA star Paula Badosa is going stronger than ever, which in turn, seems to be fueling his great form on the tennis court. Tennis’ newest power couple, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa, have been grabbing headlines ever since they made their relationship public. Although both Tsitsipas and Badosa’s on-court performances have come under much scrutiny amid the pair’s increasing off-court activities, things are looking perfect at the present moment.

Tsitsipas had a great week on the tennis court, which culminated in him winning his first title of the year at the Los Cabos Open. The Greek ATP ace added yet another feather to his cap as he bagged the 10th ATP title of his career and the very first of 2023 at the Los Cabos Open in Mexico. After a string of impressive victories last week against formidable opponents like John Isner and Borna Coric, Stefanos Tsitsipas squared off against Australia’s Alex De Minaur in the finals for the Los Cabos crown. Tsitsipas defeated De Minaur 6-3, 6-4 in a rather convincing manner, extending his unbeaten streak against the Aussie, thereby clinching the ATP 250 title played on outdoor hard court.

He posted a bunch of pictures and videos from the tournament on his Instagram handle as he reveled in the glory of his triumph. “Had some things to do this last week. ? Enjoy my tennis ? Meet some awesome fans ? Eat loads of tacos.. Thank you Los Cabos! ???”, he captioned the post.

His girlfriend Paula Badosa’s mother, Mireia Gibert, made the victory all the more memorable, with her super-affectionate comment congratulating the recently crowned Los Cabos Open champion. “Congratulations golden boy ????..you are the best ?!”, she commented on Tsitsipas’ post.

It is safe to say that Tsitsipas and Badosa’s love affair has already received the seal of approval from their respective families. Stefanos’ father and coach, Apostolos Tsitsipas, has closely witnessed the couple’s budding romance over the past few months, especially during their Wimbledon campaign.

The couple, fondly known as ‘Tsitsidosa’ by their fans, made their first appearance together as a couple at a grand slam during Wimbledon last month. Badosa’s injury woes shattered the pair’s hopes of playing mixed doubles together at the All England Club. However, they made the most of their time during their practice sessions before the start of the tournament, as they hit the grass courts of SW19 together under the guidance of Apostolos Tsitsipas. Although both their Wimbledon campaigns ended in disappointment, the couple certainly spent some quality time with each other on and off the court in London.
