While a positive start seemed on the cards for Holger Rune and coach Boris Becker, it seems the table has flipped itself over. Boris Becker, in a shock move, announced his move out of Rune’s camp. Becker will officially step down from the position of coach for the ATP star.

The incident remains especially disappointing for fans. Fans and pros both believed Becker’s experience and coaching ability would temper Holger Rune into dominance on the court. With opponents like Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz starting to fully get into their element, seeing the partnership end is a sight for sore eyes. At the moment, it seems there is no clarity about Rune’s coaching problems in the future, in the aftermath of this seemingly amicable Boris Becker split.
