Videos of Alcaraz running around have been doing the rounds on the internet, in which he is seen fighting the bees with his rackets and hands. However, when the match restarted again after the break, the 20-year-old was not in the mood to even catch a glimpse of a single bee.

A picture of him staring at a bee, which was sitting on his kit back, received a lot of reaction from the tennis world. A fan shared this picture and brought it to everyone’s attention while highlighting how scared Alcaraz might have been because of a the bees.

After this, a lot of players shared their thoughts over the same traumatizing reaction that Alcaraz carried. A fan mentioned how the two-time Grand Slam champion will always be afraid of the bees for the rest of his life after this incident.

Alcaraz’s thoughts on going away from the bees 

After winning the quarter-final match with a big hurdle, during the post-match press conference, Alcaraz opened up about the reason behind the rush that he felt after struggling with the bees. He said, “But yeah, I tried to stay away from them, but it was impossible. As I said, stuck in my hair, so I was running out. I’m a little bit afraid of them.” 

Along with that, he clearly highlighted how getting away from those small insects was quite impossible as they got stuck in his hair, leaving him worried. But at the end of the day, he achieved victory and made it to the semi-finals of the tournament, not worrying much about the bees.
