Stefanos Tsitsipas profusely praises Rafael Nadal
If Rafael Nadal has portrayed one particular ability throughout his almost two-decade long career, it is his mental toughness. Apart from being a dominant player through his game, the command over his emotions and the ability to stay calm even in the toughest of situations often work as the key to the Spaniard’s success.
Looking back at the careers of Nadal and Tsitsipas, the two have faced each other a total of 9 times so far. Looking at the words of Tsitsipas, it is undoubtedly clear that he did a good job in understanding Nadal’s temperament during those match-ups.
Tsitsipas on Nadal: "It kind of makes him feel like he's immortal with the things he's able to pull off. The matches, the level of intensity he's able to reach in times where it's very uncomfortable, it would be uncomfortable for most players to compete under these conditions."
