From a very young age, Holger Rune has found it very difficult to stay away from tennis. Aneke Rune said, “when he was young, he saw it as a punishment to be removed from tennis.” Through her natural knowledge about her son, Aneke Rune is certain that Rune will eventually learn to cope with media in a better way.

She reveals that the time Rune spends outside the influence of media and fans is the time he gets to properly relax. Aneke Rune understands Rune’s love for tennis, she said, “It is just a matter of time when, when we get the Grand Slam, I guess.” Rune has recently bought a house in Copenhagen which according to his mother, has a relatively better environment for mental health.
Holger Rune has always been a passionate player, and his mother confirms it. Aneke Rune has closely tracked Rune’s approach towards tennis and personal life, and her conclusions make her happy. She said, “if he is trying to do the right stuff, then I am satisfied.” Holger Rune has a long way to go, and he is determined to work on his consistency.
