Paul Annacone, who coached Roger Federer from 2010-13 revealed some lesser-known facts about the former world number 1. The American was a part of Federer’s team during his Wimbledon triumph in 2012.
In a recent Spotify podcast Finding Mastery, Paul said, “Roger Federer is one of the most expansive, understanding people on the planet. I’ve never been around someone that’s that accomplished, but also that open and that aware. And that able to sit at a table and take constructive criticism in a way that doesn’t make his heart beat one more time per minute. The guy’s pulse doesn’t ever get up about anything.”
Paul hails Federer’s ability to take constructive criticism. He had enough humility to respect others’ opinions despite being one of the most successful athletes of all time.
