Despite winning the China Open and the Vienna Open, and after defeating the Serbian tennis player in the same tournament itself, he is ready to stand his ground while giving his 100% to win his first ATP Final title. Apart from that, the 27-year-old tennis star talked in a press conference during the tournament about how Sinner is going to have a great future on the tennis circuit.
He said, “I generally believe if he plays like this, like he played the last weeks, all the time, he’s going to have Slams & be the world #1. Then it comes to how many weeks, how many Slams, stuff like this. Sometimes this wave ends. The question is how often is he going to ride it. When he’s not on the wave, how good he plays. That’s the way tennis is.”
Daniil Medvedev says he believes Jannik Sinner will become world #1 & win multiple Grand Slams:

Along with that, he also talked about how he is currently in a good position with his athletic form. Subsequently, Medvedev also added that there will be a time in the future when the 22-year-old Italian will have Grand Slam titles under his name and even be the top-ranked tennis player.
But before this audacious forecast, the last time the pair garnered media attention was when they squared off in the China Open final round. Even though the fourth-seeded tennis player prevailed, Medvedev’s snatching maneuver with him at the presentation ceremony attracted a lot of attention.

When Dannil Medvedev took away Jannik Sinner’s doll
The cameras at the presentation ceremony of the China Open grabbed the thoughtful dad in an unusual act. While the 27-year-old was given a dish, Sinner, with the trophy, was also given a doll that he kept inside the trophy while posing for the cameras.
Shortly after they posed for pictures, the Russian tennis player took Sinner’s trophy and removed the doll without saying anything. Some tennis fans, however, believed that he was likely stealing the doll for his daughter. In addition, some found humor in the incident, but the Italians were confused by Medvedev’s performance at the award ceremony.
