Greek tennis sensation Stefanos Tsitsipas has had a great 2021 season. After the end of the tennis season, the World No. 4 had even more joyous sporting news lined up for him.

Tsitsipas was in Abu Dhabi to attend the ultimate race of the 2021 Formula 1 season. This F1 season has been one for the history books, with the entire world taking notice of the championship battle. Dutchman Max Verstappen took the battle straight to 7-time champion Lewis Hamilton and finally came out on top in a controversial final race.

Tsitsipas was at the Yas Marina Circuit, in the Red Bull Racing paddock on the day of the final race of the F1 season. The Greek was there in attendance as a sponsored athlete by Red Bull. Naturally, Stefanos Tsitsipas was vocal about his support for fellow Red Bull athlete Max Verstappen.

Even now, Tsitsipas cannot get enough of the race. Of course, the entire world is still reeling from one of the most exhilarating races and championship battles of all time. Thus, Stefanos Tsitsipas is not alone.

Just today, the 23-year-old shared another clip shared by Red Bull Racing on Instagram. The video shows the final minute of the race and the F1 season, where Max Verstappen finally overtook Lewis Hamilton and went on toward the chequered flag in victory.

Tsitsipas reposted the clip and captioned it “Gives me chills”.

As Max Verstappen was congratulated by the entire Red Bull Racing team, Stefanos Tsitsipas, who was present in the paddocks as well, was livid with joy. He kept posting videos on his Instagram, showing Max being hounded and surrounded by everyone looking to congratulate the new champion.

With the 2022 tennis season right around the corner, fans are certain that they will be cheering for Tsitsipas very soon, too.
