Recently, out of nowhere, the 2022 Wimbledon finalist shared an assessment of the tennis calendar.
The assessment received a thumbs-up from Novak Djokovic‘s rebel tennis organization, PTPA. The 36-year-old Serbian tennis player’s organization’s reaction also stirred a cryptic reply from the Aussie.

Recently, the former world number 13, in a podcast with Mike Tyson, talked about how the professional tennis schedule is just preposterous. His assessment of how the tennis calendar works was shared by the PTPA, regarding how it’s the physical, mental, and emotional toll that takes over players.
In addition, he also gave a huge reality check regarding how professional tennis players don’t get much time to cool down or enjoy a season at any point of the year. Even after receiving a thumbs-up from the 24-time Grand Slam champion’s rebel association, the 2022 Wimbledon finalist himself shared the same post with a cryptic reaction. He shared a series of speaking head emojis, emphasizing his openness, to talk about the important topics surrounding the tennis arena.
In the video, Kyrgios highlighted that, “We basically travel to a new country every week. Like if it’s tennis player play their full schedule, it’s like you get maybe a month off, if that for the end of the year to just get your body right, get your mind right, and then the Australian Open just like the start of the year, that the big one.”

Earlier this year, in a significant development for the professional tennis world, Kyrgios announced his official membership in the PTPA and also stated the reason behind his decision.

Earlier this year, the Aussie sensation shared the amazing news of becoming a part of the organization with his fans. He shared an Instagram post after signing with the organization. He wrote, “Super excited to be a part of the @ptpaplayers amazing initiative. ANY players that have any questions please feel free to reach out… it’s time.”

According to him, one of his biggest objectives in joining the PTPA is to support lower-ranking players who often face financial challenges and receive fewer opportunities. While he was quite excited to become a part of the amazing initiative, he also demonstrated his commitment to working for a positive change within the tennis world.
