The majority might find Paris extremely romantic in the rain but Taylor Fritz‘s girlfriend has a slightly different opinion. Known to bring out the harmony between fashion and tennis perfectly, Riddle became a victim of Paris’s uncertain weather due to a critical lapse in judgment. Addressing how “the weather doesn’t match” her outfit for the day, Riddle shared an interesting “lesson ” that she learned from her Roland Garros appearance yesterday.

Riddle shared a fan’s Instagram clip, where she was spotted wearing a black trench coat, attending her boyfriend’s debut match against Argentinian Federico Coria. The clip showed how Riddle was trying to cover her head with her hand as it started to drizzle during Fritz’s first match at the Roland Garros. Sharing the clip, that fan wrote- “No no! the weather doesn’t match with this it Girl Hi @moorgs.” Riddle, who shared this fan’s clip, also added a hilarious caption, expressing her feelings about attending the match without an umbrella.

“Lesson learned always bring an umbrella to RG,” wrote Morgan Riddle with two emoticons with tears in their eyes.

Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend was attending her boyfriend’s match at the Philippe Chatrier court in Paris. It was the players’ second meeting after the 2021 Melbourne Open, where Fritz defeated Coria within an hour.  However, rain slowed down the match’s pace making it a bit lengthy. Nonetheless, Fritz defeated Argentinian ATP star  2-6, 6-1, 6-2, and 6-1. Not only did he win but Fritz broke his opponent’s serve eight times in the three sets of the match he won. Interestingly, the records show his difficult run on clay as he never went beyond the major tournament’s third round. Following Riddle’s support, fans are waiting to see if the American ATP star can bag his debut Grand Slam title in Paris.

In a relationship since 2020, Morgan Riddle attends the majority of her boyfriend’s tournaments to support him. She was spotted with Fritz in the Geneva Open when Fritz suffered a loss against Alex Michelson in the tour’s second round. While Fritz couldn’t make an impact in the tournament, his girlfriend took the opportunity to show her fans their next destination. Riddle shared her cozy and luxurious train suite with a great scenic view and large windows for their trip to Paris. “Off to Paris“- Riddle wrote on her official Instagram story.

Be it rain-drenched Roland Garros or accompanying Fritz to Geneva and spotting cows, Riddle keeps her boyfriend motivated on tour. Hopefully, her support will bear fruit at this year’s Roland Garros.
