In her Instagram story, fans spotted Nedved in a raincoat, which surely speaks about the unpredictable rain in Paris. “saved my day (or the last 2) This raincoat aka the best 15E spent @Roland Garros this week considering the continuous rain”- captioned Korda’s girlfriend.

In her other Instagram story, fans understood the context as Nedved dropped a picture from Korda’s match against Soonwoo Kwon in Paris showing the scoreboard. “2 days and many more rain showers later”-she wrote. Well, Paris’s unpredictable weather has been a true pain in the back for many athletes including fans. This Wednesday, the authorities had to call off many matches in the outside court. Only the matches held in the covered Philippe Chatrier Court and Suzanne Lenglen courts were continued amid rain.

Along with Hubert Hurkacz’s match with Brandon Nakashima and Ben Shelton’s match with Kei Nishikori, Sebastian Korda’s second-round Roland Garros match was also suspended. This truly disappointed Korda’s fans, who later compensated their disappointment with Korda’s win over Soonwoo Kwon yesterday.

Sebastian Korda marches past Soon-woo to face off against Alcaraz again

After suffering a delay, Sebastian Korda still managed to pull off a victory against Korea’s Kwon Soon-woo by 6-4, 6-4, 1-6, and 6-3. Following this victory, Korda walks forward to meet his old rival Carlos Alcaraz in the tour’s third round. In the same round of the same tour, Korda was defeated by the Spaniard in 2022.

“There is no doubt that Carlitos is one of the best clay court players in the world, so I am clear that it will be difficult to defeat him.
