Carlos Alcaraz‘s pack of dreams turned into reality in a moment. With his massive win over Alexander Zverev, the young Spaniard not only secured a French Open title but also became the youngest player to grab 3 major wins on 3 different surfaces. While it was of course a moment to celebrate and create timeless memories, the commencement of the Olympic games snatched ‘The Eiffel Tower’ dream from him.

After his enormous victory at Roland Garros, Carlos Alcaraz was eager to have his official photos taken with the glittering trophy in front of the Eiffel Tower. However, this dream was taken away due to tight security measures in Paris for the upcoming 2024 Olympic Games. While former champions like Rafael Nadal have had their victorious moments captured amid the stunning Parisian landmarks, Alcaraz had to settle for photos confined to the Roland Garros facilities.

After securing his Grand Slam victory, Alcaraz had high hopes to replicate his predecessors by posing with the Cup in front of the Eiffel Tower. The Roland Garros organization confirmed to the press that the security measures deployed across the French capital for the event prevented any possibility of the photo shoot taking place at the iconic location.

Dressed in a stylish white shirt and black Louis Vuitton jacket, Alcaraz posed for the official photos in the stands of the Philippe Chatrier stadium instead. While these photos came out to be elegant and were highly appreciated by the fans, they still lacked the magical touch of the Eiffel Tower in the background, a sight that has been a tradition for Roland Garros winners.

Despite this disappointment, Alcaraz remains a celebrated champion, and his victory at Roland Garros will be remembered. However, the champion still found a unique way to make his first French Open victory immortal.

The denial of a photoshoot in front of the Eiffel Tower was surely a disappointment for Carlos Alcaraz. While he continued to look for something to make his first Roland Garros win memorable, the young Spaniard came up with an even more creative idea. According to recent reports, he has decided to get the monument tattooed on his left ankle.

The 21-year-old, who had a dream to replicate the way Rafael Nadal made his win memorable, couldn’t actually make it to the glorious monument. With his adorable decision of getting inked, the Eiffel Tower is set to shine over the champion, as he looks forward to extending his lead of clay court major wins.
