After an action-packed two weeks, we have finally come to the ultimate day at the 123rd edition of the French Open. This will be the first time in almost nineteen years that none among the ‘Big Three’ in the tennis world will feature in the finals of the second Grand Slam of the season. Both Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev have reached the finals of the claycourt major for the first time in their careers. They are just three sets away from winning their maiden French Open title. But how much money will the winner of this epic contest take home?

The ‘Queen of Clay’ has already successfully defended her crown yesterday! But who in between these two gentlemen will grab the $2,606,000 prize money? This year’s total prize money is around $63,519,2019, i.e. there has been an increase of 7.82% compared to the 2023 edition. The Finalist will take home $1,303,440, so that’s almost half the amount of the winner. So both, Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev have already grabbed a hefty amount in their bags. Now the question is, who will take a step further from here onwards on Super Sunday?

Men and women are distributed the same amount of money! But apart from the prize money, the winner of this contest will also earn 2000 points while the runners-up will secure 1300 points. Carlos Alcaraz (21) is the youngest man to reach a Grand Slam final on all three surfaces. Currently, he sits at the number three spot in men’s singles ranking with 7300 points. If he somehow manages to beat the German in the finals, this will boost his confidence for the rest of the Slams this year.

Just before stepping onto the court, the Spaniard believes this is going to be an “interesting final“.  Carlos Alcaraz said, “Sascha, he’s playing great tennis on clay…It’s going to be a really interesting final.” On the other hand, the world number four, Alexander Zverev says this is really going to be a “tough battle“. Zverev said, “We had very tough battles in the past. It’s going to be a difficult match. It is a Grand Slam final. If you’re in a Grand Slam final, you deserve to be there. That goes for both of us. I think both of us are expecting a tough battle.” But what about the battle off the court, who has the highest net worth between these two tennis stars?
