British professional tennis player Liam Broady is back home after losing to Nick Kyrgios in the first round of the Australian Open. After reaching England, Broady had a sudden realization about the level at which the tennis greats operate. He praised some of the greatest players of this generation, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, and Stan Wawrinka.
Broady looked impressive in Australia, where he battled long and hard to qualify for the main draw of the Australian Open. Unfortunately, the Brit was knocked out by Australian star player Nick Kyrgios in the first round.

The 28-year-old Broady is looking to achieve more in his professional career, but the more he plays, the more he appreciates the level of the legends of the game.
Broady said, “The more I play tennis the more I realise what freaks the guys at the top of our game are. And then beyond them sit Rafa Roger Novak Andy and Stan. How can you be so good and win so consistently against such good players for so long?”

After losing in the first round at the Australian Open, Liam Broady is looking forward to North America to take part in a tennis tournament in Cleveland.
Only one player out of Broady’s list remains in Australia
Liam specifically talked about Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, and Stan Wawrinka. Only Rafa is currently playing in the Australian Open after Andy Murray got knocked out in the second round. Last Sunday, Novak Djokovic had to leave the country after losing the court case regarding his visa cancellation.

Meanwhile, both Roger and Stan are recovering from injuries. Roger hasn’t played a single match since last year’s Wimbledon quarter-final and Stan last played in March 2021. Currently, Rafa, Roger, and Novak are tied on 20 Grand Slam titles and Rafa has the best chance to win his 21st title in Australia.

It’s safe to say, the greats are still on top of their game despite their advanced age. Maybe in 2022, we will see all of them together in a Grand Slam, fighting for the top prize.
