With just days left for the United States Presidential Elections, the battle to become the next POTUS is heating up. The two candidates, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump have vouched for support widely and kept their points. However, ahead of the elections, there was a major talking point doing the rounds in the media. Many of Trump’s supporters called Harris underqualified to take the job of the President if she wins the elections. Amid this controversy, Frances Tiafoe’s girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield, came to Harris’s rescue.

Seldom would one find Broomfield talking about politics. However, on this occasion, she was fed up with hearing that Harris wasn’t qualified enough. As a result, she took to social media to slam Harris’s detractors as she revealed the educational qualifications of the current vice president of United States.

Sharing a video on her TikTok handle, Broomfield said, “I never speak on politics. This specific thing has been bothering me so much about this election. You may not believe in Kamala’s strategy or her plan in general. Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. But what is irritating me is people saying that she isn’t qualified enough. She is an undergrad from Harvard, a law degree from the University of California, was district attorney, she was attorney general, she was Vice President and she’s on all these committees, like how do you get more qualified than that? Stripping away her hard-earned achievements to justify your lack of support makes zero sense.”

Apart from the fans, some renowned celebrities also made shocking claims about Harris’s qualification status. Rapper Lord Jammar even said that Harris was underqualified to run Dunkin’ Donuts or a 7-Eleven. “This woman, to me, is not qualified to run, you know, a Dunkin’ Donuts or a 7-Eleven, let alone the corporation that we call the United States of America… She’s a diggy broad. She cackles all the f–king time. She lies. She doesn’t answer a f–king question — not once during that debate did she answer anything that was asked of her,” the rapper said.

As this controversy piled up in the Presidential race, current POTUS, Joe Biden, came in support of Harris. Biden made a solid counterpoint to the argument about Harris being underqualified.

Joe Biden made his stance clear about Kamala Harris

A few months back, Biden was in the running for the upcoming Presidential elections. Harris was his deputy before Biden decided to pull out of the race and not run for a second term in the office. During one of his interviews, Biden defended Harris amid talks about her being underqualified for the role of the POTUS.

He said, “This was a hell of a prosecutor. She was a first-rate person, and in the Senate, she was really good. I wouldn’t have picked her unless I thought she was qualified to be president. From the very beginning. I made no bones about that. She is qualified to be president. That’s why I picked her.”

There hasn’t been too much discussion in the tennis world on the political issues, but Tiafoe’s girlfriend came forward to defend Harris. The American Presidential Elections are slated to take place on November 5, with Kamala Harris and Donald Trump being the democrat and the Republican nominees.
