Frances Tiafoe‘s racquet has won him many matches, but none as special as his latest victory in Cincinnati! The American player has jumped back into action at the Cincinnati Masters following a 64-round exit from the Canadian Open. He achieved the triumph on the same day as his girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield’s birthday (August 13th), Tiafoe had his first-round victory! As the American shared a special tribute to Broomfield on Instagram, the former tennis player was quick to share her heartfelt response on the post!

While Tiafoe was busy taking over Alejandro Fokina by 3-6, 6-7, his long-term girlfriend, Broomfield, was celebrating her 27th birthday! Tiafoe might not have been able to spend his entire day celebrating Broomfield’s birthday, but he did not forget to share a sweet post on Instagram, displaying his love and affection for her.

Posting a series of adorable snaps, which included three pictures of Broomfield as a baby, Tiafoe showed his gratitude to her by writing, “Happy bday to my right hand….my rock…..my everything. Happy 27th bday my love hope you enjoy the day. See you next week love you always. I’m thankful for you and always proud of you. P.S. Happy I finally got a dub on ur bday 😂😂🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️.”

On seeing this, the Canadian former tennis player, happy at this gesture, commented on the post by expressing her love for him and proudly acknowledging his accomplishments. “frances be so for real not the baby photos 😂😂 thank youu pumpkin and we love a good bday dubbbb.” Broomfield did not want her baby pictures, which included her having ice cream on one occasion or awkwardly staring or smiling at the camera, to be posted online out of embarrassment. 

But fans loved the snaps and the love-filled exchange between the duo as they flooded the comment section with more love! Sharing a bond for a decade, the couple has always stood by each other, be it in the hard times or in the moments of victories. While Tiafoe showed his support for Broomfield, who eventually pursued her career in modeling and acting by leaving tennis, the former WTA tennis pro stuck by Tiafoe’s side when he struggled with his career.

“Sometimes you know when he’s feeling nervous or he’s not feeling great, and you just feel for him. You’re constantly talking to each other. It’s little comments here and there, little glances here and there, so you have to be locked in the entire time. But it’s definitely a lot. And you just want to make sure that he feels that he has your support,” Broomfield once said about Tiafoe in an interview. The former world no. 680 player also shows her support for the 26-year-old player when there is a harsh comment on Tiafoe’s Instagram post!

Broomfield has previously admitted how she wants her boyfriend to “be a grand slam champion.” However, the road to that has become quite bumpy for Tiafoe, who has been struggling to earn a singles title this season. He once ruled the top 10 position on the rankings, but his lacking form has thrown him out of the top 20 ranking as of now. However, even amid the criticism among fans, Broomfield’s unwavering support for Tiafoe remained the same. 

Therefore, when Tiafoe, happy at having a first-round victory at the French Open earlier this year, posted, “Nothing good comes easy….. round 1 ✅. See y’all again tomorrow ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿. #godspeed #humble&hungry #darkhorse,” Broomfield did not let the negative comments affect his play. Under the comment of a fan who said, “Man you not him right now bro you need to get some wins,” she wrote, “He’s been him. Always him. take your negativity elsewhere.”

Broomfield and Tiafoe have been setting a ‘couple goals’ vibe in the tennis arena for years. While we enjoy some rare glimpses into their world of love, they will certainly continue to celebrate more victories and birthdays with each other!
