Frances Tiafoe‘s season in 2024 may have ended, but he’s making sure to utilize his holiday break well. And what’s better than spending quality time with his girlfriend Ayan Broomfield? But Broomfield has got one small issue with her BF. What is it? Nothing other than driving! Yes, his on-court skills don’t need an introduction but the same can’t be said about his driving. Seems like Ayan’s surely not a huge fan of it!

Tiafoe wrapped up his season last month when he was eliminated in the first round of the Rolex Paris Masters. Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard got the better of him with a scoreline of 6-7, 7-6, 6-3. Since then, Tiafoe’s just focusing on having a good time with girlfriend Ayan. The two are frequently seen sharing precious moments on social media. However, spending too much time together has its own rare downsides. It can be said in the case of Ayan Broomfield as she seems to have become worried of Frances’ driving.

She threw light on it in an Instagram story, dated November 23rd, while taking a hilarious dig at Tiafoe. In a clip, she’s seen coming out of the car while taking a moment of relief from Tiafoe’s car driving. “Me after being in the car with frances driving averaging: 8 ceiling handle holds 7 “WATCH OUTS” 18 “SLOW DOWNS” 4 window pull downs for the car sickness”, Ayan wrote in the story. She implied that the ride was so rough that she had to remind him on multiple occasions in order to stay in vigilant on the road.

Well one can’t deny this point as safe driving is definitely a must for anyone. Especially, when your girlfriend is sitting on the passenger seat next to you. Hopefully Frances will take notes the next time he goes out with Broomfield. But the video clip is surely fun to watch. Especially for all the fans who are always thrilled to see them together. Recently, Ayan and Frances shared another video on Instagram where they are seen getting ready for Christmas in advance!

Tiafoe took to his to Instagram story while sharing his and Ayan’s excitement for Christmas through a video. They were seen indulging in festive activities like shopping and setting up the Christmas tree. Additionally, the two also danced together while expressing their inseparable bond. Broomfield wrote “the tree leaning to the left 😩 also we need a topper, any suggestions?”

For those who are curious to know about their love story, Frances and Ayan actually started dating all the way back in 2015. Since then, they have never left each other’s company. Moreover, they never shy away from showing their chemistry in public. They were recently seen sharing an intimate moment together during the match of Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos on November 11th. But their bond goes beyond just spending lovely moments together. Ayan has also acted a support system for Tifaoe in his career. Not many people are aware of the fact that she’s been one of the top tennis players at the Clemson University and then UCLA. While she didn’t play a lot on WTA tours, her passion for the sport is still intact.

In 2023, Ayan opened up about how she extended help to BF Tiafoe when he needed it the most. “We can talk about tennis. I mean, I played tennis myself. So even just when we’re seeing the draw, and we kind of look at certain players, sometimes I can act as a sounding board for matches,” she said. Adding further, she mentioned, “Not to say that he takes my advice, but it’s nice to be able to chat about it and strategy. I just feel like we just understand it and what it takes for someone to go and be able to compete at the highest level.”
