Although retired, the Swiss Maestro has shown us that he has not abandoned the sport completely. While he is engaged in other various ventures, he is still taking part in tennis in some capacity. He played tennis with some of his younger fans to take the event to the next level. Additionally, he gave an instant hit of nostalgia to those who miss him on the court.

The Tennis Letter shared two videos of him playing tennis with the caption, “Roger Federer played tennis with some young fans in Shanghai for a Uniqlo event. Definitely made their day. ❤️“.

Watching him hit a few strokes, his fans shed some tears as they were reminded of the glorious days of the Swiss Maestro after a video of his rallies went viral. Federer fans are reminded of the past

Before The Tennis Letter shared the video of Federer’s rallies, a fan saw a video of the 20-time grand slam champion. They shared on his  Twitter (now X) profile and said they miss Federer even more now. Watching the video made fans emotional. One user made up a story about what Federer might say if they were playing opposite to him.

One major fan said that a slow-motion video of his rally would be better than any poetry. Watching his movements, one fan fantasized about his possible return to play exhibition matches. Since his knees were suffering before retirement, one fan said they could see improvement in the movement since he got a good amount of rest.
