The Federer family is enjoying a long Euro trip right now. On April 1, Roger Federer’s wife Mirka celebrated her 45th birthday, and the Swiss tennis legend had something special in store for her. The family spent time in Rome, Italy’s capital, and the Eternal City, as Roger Federer took Mirka on a tour of the Vatican Museums. Apart from his family, a couple of Federer’s friends also joined him. It was a three-day stay in Rome for the Federer family, and it’s safe to say they made memories that would last them their entire lives.

Rome is full of iconic landmarks and monuments. As a result, Roger Federer had plenty of places to take his family and friends during his time in the Italian capital. The first two days of their trip saw them enjoying Rome’s city center. Roger and Mirka’s four children seemed particularly enthralled with the beautiful Roman Spring.

Federer saved the best for the last, as he wanted to treat his beloved wife Mirka to the enchanting and fascinating Vatican Museums. It was a private tour for the family as famous Vatican guide Gianni Crea led the way. The family’s enthralling experience of the Vatican Museums started in the key bunker.

Guide Crea handed over a bunch of keys to Federer. One by one, as the all-time tennis explored the Museums’ rooms. Of course, the family also paid a visit to the most iconic destination of all, the Sistine Chapel. At this point, Mirka succumbed to tears as her emotions got the better of her.
Eventually, the Federer family’s tour of the Museums reached a special conclusion at the Terrazza del Nicchione. There’s no better place than the Terrazza del Nicchione when it comes to viewing St. Peter’s dome in all its glory.

What else is up in Federer’s life?
Apart from basking in the breathtaking beauty of Rome, Federer also collaborated with television personality Trevor Noah recently. The collaboration resulted in a video that shows the duo boarding a train to the scenic Swiss city of Interlaken.

My Switzerland Tourism took charge of the video’s production and it’s sure to leave both Federer and Noah fans in splits. This is not the first time that the two came together on screen. After Federer’s retirement in 2022, he was a special guest on The Daily Show, which Noah formerly hosted.
