Paris Masters earlier this week, the former world number one is confident his best tennis will be on show at the prestigious year-end championships. Alcaraz exited Paris earlier than expected, in the round of 32, casting doubt on his form heading into Turin. Alcaraz will look to regain momentum in Turin after losing his second round match to Roman Safiullin in Paris. In Turin, he faces a tough group with Alexander Zverev, Daniil Medvedev, and Andrey Rublev for company. But Alcaraz believes the indoor hard courts will suit his powerful game.
“Of course I wanted to do better in Paris but it’s not the end of the season,” Alcaraz said in an interview with ATP media.
He further added, “Yes, of course, it’s a big moment for me, qualified to the ATP Finals with the eight best players of the year. It’s a goal for me and I’m really excited to start the tournament and obviously my goal is to win it and I’ll give whatever it takes to take the trophy home.”

The ATP Finals presents an opportunity for Alcaraz to add another important title to his expanding trophy cabinet. However, he has little chance of finishing as the year-end number one given the large points gap to his rival, Novak Djokovic.
Despite cementing his position as the best player among the current generation, Alcaraz’s hunger to improve himself is still burning brightly. This was on full display as he reflected on his disappointing exit in the Paris Masters.
