The ATP Cup 2021 is the perfect tournament to warm up tennis fans for what’s yet to come. Greece is one of the 12 countries that’s taking part in the international tournament, and they’re led by none other than the vibrant Stefanos Tsitsipas!
Tsitsipas was luckily one of the players who wasn’t subjected to hard quarantine by the tournament organizers. Hence, the Greek star had the liberty to go outside, interact with fans and have some fun to boost his preparations for the ATP Cup.

There’s a huge fan following for Stefanos Tsitsipas wherever he goes. The 22-year-old has been making the most of his time since completing the mandatory quarantine period. Tsitsipas saw his fans cheering him on as soon as he left his hotel, and he was happy to take some time and interact with them.
“It’s great being outside and being able to practice and interact with people the normal way. I’m loving it every single second now in Melbourne Park,” Tsitsipas said.
Besides indulging with the fans, Tsitsipas was also treated to some authentic Hellenic cuisine from one of Melbourne’s quality restaurants. The eye-catching detail was that Tsitsipas also reached out and helped in cooking some of the dishes!
“I’m pretty okay, I got better during quarantine. I worked on my cooking skills and learned a lot,” Tsitsipas mentioned. “I do feel like at home, yes. I’m expecting a big crowd, I’m expecting big support, and the rest, I have to take care of myself,” he added.

Team Greece is placed in a tricky group alongside dominant competitors in Spain and Australia. Stefanos Tsitsipas would be wary of the challenge he will be facing at the event. The 22-year-old will have to get past Rafael Nadal and Alex de Minaur to improve his nation’s chances of making it to the semi-finals!
