Fans tip their hats in awe of the best in business at the Centre Court of Bercy, Paris. The world number one in men’s tennis, Novak Djokovic defeated number five Andrey Rublev in 3 hours and 2 minutes in the semifinals of the Rolex Paris Masters on Saturday evening. The Russian star gave a tough fight to the Djoker before surrendering to the consistent shot-making of the eventual champion. Unsurprisingly, this comeback victory had the Djokovic fans talking on social media.

Novak Djokovic was put through the wringer recently with back-to-back three sets of matches to make it a clean sweep of 9-0 in the SFs of Paris Masters. He was seen receiving treatment on his lower back just before the final had begun. The 24-time Grand Slam winner looked a bit rusty at the start but he soon recovered. He managed to regain his focus and dominate the 26-year-old Russian at the other end.

Novak Djokovic defeated Rublev by a 5-7,7-6(3),7-5 margin to seal his place in the finals of the tournament. Following his win, Djokovic was seen celebrating by raising his finger to the ear. He encouraged the crowd to cheer louder. His performance in the semis and the celebration after that, has caught the eyes of many. Novak Djokovic creates yet another record after his triumph in the final of the Paris Masters

The world number one, Novak Djokovic defeated the number 17, Grigor Dimitrov in the finals of the Paris Masters by 6-5,6-3. Having won their last encounter at the Italian Open, he enjoyed the scoreline of 11-1 in the head-to-head record against the former number 3. After securing his 7th title at the Paris Masters, the 36-year-old has now become the oldest to win the tournament in Paris.

Djokovic already holds quite a few records with the most number of Grand Slam titles for a man in the history of the sport. The Serbian has been ranked number 1 for a record total of 397 weeks. He is also the only player to win Double Career Golden Masters. With his victory at the QFs of the tournament in Paris, he has also now overtaken Rafael Nadal for the best career winning percentage by a 0.0084 margin.
