Back in 2017, when Roger Federer defeated Marin Cilic in the Wimbledon final, he wept. Winning the title and seeing his children there was like a dream. That’s how much his family means to him. But it doesn’t end there. He also values his relationship with other players and business partners. Who would want to pick a bone with the Swiss legend who is known for his calm demeanor?
Even the Tournament Director of the Rolex Shanghai Masters, Michael A. Luevano, has some great things to say about the retired athlete. Since 2002, they have known each other. In an interview, Luevano opened up with some lesser-known facts about the Swiss player.

In an interview with Shine, the director was asked about some of the fond memories he has of Roger Federer. Michael Luevano started by saying that he was very fortunate to have met the player several times. He has seen both Federer’s success and loss. And given the kind of bond he has with the player, it is impossible not to root for him.
He elaborated on one of the memories he has of the legend. Luevano said, “I remember walking into his suite and finding him in a tent with his two boys. The same day, he was in the quarterfinals. Federer has two sets of identical twins. He prefers privacy when it comes to his family life. However, his children and wife have often been in the stands to support him during his matches.
