Ever since winning the China Open, Jannik Sinner has not stopped being in the headlines. Everyone wants to know about him and see him play more. And recently he was yet again in an interview with the Corriere Della Sera. He was asked in the interview if there was anything that made him cry.
It is at that moment when he shared about his grandfather passing away. He said, “When grandpa passed away in January, I was flying back from Australia. I landed in Milan at 6, my grandfather was dead at 4. I found my dad at the airport: he was silent but I immediately saw that something was wrong. He told me on the street, and I held back. Even my parents don’t know this: then, alone, in the bedroom, a few tears fell. It’s normal.”

Sinner also shared that his long-term goal is not to make the most money but to become the best version of himself. His other dream is to ensure that his parents stay healthy for as long as possible and continue to live the life they have now. Jannik Sinner also shared that he wants to live like a child for the longest time, just doing simple things and enjoying the moment.
