In a recent interview with tennis legend Jimmy Connors, Rune revealed his insights on the presence of Novak Djokovic in the sport. Talking about the greatest of the games that featured the likes of Djokovic, Roger Federer, and Rafael Nadal, Rune highlighted the impact these icons have on the younger generation.

He further talked about the learning experience that comes from sharing the court with a player of Djokovic’s caliber. Acknowledging Djokovic’s standards and remarkable achievements, Rune expressed gratitude for the chance to measure himself against such an exceptionally high bar.

“I actually like that Novak is still playing. You know for us young players to really see what the real world is in a way what the real deal is. I think Novak is sitting at an extremely high standard and I think for us players to see that is very helpful,” said Holger Rune while talking about Novak Djokovic.
