It’s time for the European Open 2021 and there are some big names in the lineup this year. Also known as the ATP Antwerp 2021, the tournament will begin right after the conclusion of the Indian Wells Masters 2021, i.e, from October 18, 2021, and will extend till October 24, 2021. Interestingly, 3-time Grand Slam champion Andy Murray will also be a part of the tournament.

The total prize money for the European Open 2021 is €508,600 and, intriguingly, the winner will receive a check of €49,885 while the runner-up will settle for €35,770.

The seeds and draw of the European Open 2021 is out and Italian rising star, Jannik Sinner, will begin as the top-seeded player. Even though he will get a bye in the first match, he can face either Lorenzo Musetti or Gianluca Mager in the second round.

Apart from him, Andy Murray, Diego Schwartzman, Benoit Paire and Alex de Minaur are also playing at the tournament. Unfortunately, fans will not be able to watch last year’s champion, Ugo Humbert, this year in Antwerp.

Since Diego Schwartzman is enjoying a bye in his first match, he will start his tournament against either Murray or Tiafoe. If Murray somehow manages to battle past the American, he will have to encounter the Argentine in the second round of the tournament.
