23-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic is back to his best. After a rather disappointing 2022 season by his standards, the Serbian superstar clinched back-to-back Grand Slam titles earlier this year. Showing prime supremacy at 36, Djokovic dominated his opponents at the Australian Open and the French Open. Further, he has continued his blazing form at this year’s Wimbledon Championships.
The defending champion has looked solid as he breezed through to the quarterfinals at the grass-court Grand Slam tournament. Later today, he’ll face the challenge of the seventh seed, Andrey Rublev. However, Djokovic received an unexpected surprise before his quarterfinal encounter against the Russian.

Novak Djokovic won’t get his daughter’s support
Before the pre-match interview, the seven-time Wimbledon champion made a bizarre revelation that shocked many. Opening up on this, Djokovic said that his five-year-old daughter won’t be cheering for him as she is a big Andrey Rublev fan. The former World Number 1 told the BBC, “She likes him for his headband and for his energy and intensity. That?s the number one choice of my daughter, yes.?
Further, Djokovic also revealed that although his daughter doesn’t follow tennis much, she still likes Rublev very much. Nonetheless, the Serb hopes to overcome the challenge of his Russian opponent as he looks to claim a hattrick of Grand Slam titles.
