Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have shared one of the most celebrated tennis rivalries of all time. Consequently, the rivalry between the different fanbases is also quite ardent. But no matter what, if any tennis enthusiast ever confronts Rafael Nadal or Roger Federer, he/she can not miss the chance to get a selfie with them. However, exceptions are always there. This one fan unintentionally insulted the Swiss Maestro while he was looking for Nadal.

As a matter of fact, this is not the first time that somebody failed to recognize Federer. Even at his stomping ground Wimbledon, he once faced an embarrassing moment.

Now that Federer has retired from tennis, he is relishing his off-court life by enjoying both new and old beloved interests. That is why we saw him having the time of his life at the Miami Grand Prix this year.

However, what he did not expect was a hilarious moment with a Rafael Nadal fan. As a way of interacting with his fans, Federer asked them to share their queries. One fan wanted to know if there ever was an incident where he was mistaken for someone else. And fresh off the boat, Federer had a recent one to share. He stated, “Happened the other day at the Formula 1. A guy asked, “Can I have a picture with you, Mr Nadal?” I told him I wasn’t Mr Nadal.”

However, that is not the end of the story. Federer said, “He apologized and left without taking a picture.”

The hilarious part is that this is not the first time Federer went through something like this. A similar incident happened at Wimbledon too.

The Swiss Maestro has set an astounding record at the SW19. With eight Grand Slam titles on the grass-court major at Wimbledon, he has secured the most Wimbledon titles in the open era.

However, it is also the same place where a female security guard did not let him enter the Wimbledon premises. The player was not carrying his membership card, and she adhered to the regulations strictly.
