Twitter has always been a tool to draw reactions from everyone, especially its users. Recently, the Australian Nick Kyrgios reacted to the news on Twitter in a humorous way. Kyrgios was inactive mostly after playing a single match in 2023. So, it’s natural that he spends most of his time elsewhere. In this case, it’s Twitter.

Suffering from injuries around his wrist and knee, Kyrgios has been resting himself. However, scrolling Twitter is the best way to spend time, and what could be better than interacting with the wealthiest man on this planet?

Elon Musk is known for his shenanigans, especially on Twitter. He often keeps himself busy posting random yet funny tweets. This time, he wanted to know who was verified on Twitter. So he tweeted “Verifying verification” with locked settings.

Only those who are either verified or have been mentioned by Musk can comment on this tweet. Obviously, Nick Kyrgios had to be there reacting to the whole situation and marking his authority as a verified user of the app.

Kyrgios did so by tweeting a heart and crown emoji and nothing else. This might be his way of showing love and respect to the multi-billionaire Musk.

It seems like there are some hiccups in his way before he can return to full time though.

Kyrgios’ comeback in tennis

There has been no update from Nick Kyrgios as to when he will be taking control. Being only 28 years old, he is missing out on some of his best years to be in tennis. In August, he hinted that he would return soon and with a fired-up comeback. However, there has been no further development on that.

Kyrgios had a phenomenal year in 2022, although 2023 had different plans for him. The powerhouse player had to drop out of all 4 Grand Slams this year as he’s been suffering from a torn ligament in his wrist. This struggle will only lead the once-ranked-World’s No.13, towards a career pitfall.

It is delightful to see Nick Kyrgios still partaking in the trends on the internet. Especially when it is Elon Musk who is making the trend himself. Kyrgios has not lost his touch with humor as he respectfully replied without using any words.
