Novak Djokovic is one of the top three tennis players currently. The 35-year-old is in a constant battle with Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. Although it’s hard to pick one out of them, the three definitely push beyond their limits. With the rising age, it becomes difficult for any athlete to show the same level of energy and intensity.
However, the Serb has maintained his fitness all year long and hardly misses out because of an injury.

It will be unfair to give all the credit for it to Djokovic only. The man behind keeping the star athlete up and running is his physio Ulises Badio. Recently, in an interview, he opened up about his daily interaction with Djokovic.
What does it take to keep Djokovic fit?
Badio revealed that he needs to be extra careful to be working with someone like Djokovic. Further, he said that the job is a never-ending process and requires 24-hour observation.

“We work with him 24 hours a day. It’s not sufficient to spend 4 hours with him, throughout his coaching, and see him earlier than the sport. I comply with him always, even when he’s sitting right down to see how he’s, or how a lot water he has drank, or if somebody has been speaking to him on the telephone for a very long time: each little element can affect him throughout the match,” he said.
He also spoke about the tough phase Djokovic went through at the start of this year.

It mentions that the tournament will follow all the guidelines put up by the current government. With this, the chances of Djokovic playing in the US Open have officially ended.
