The Russian tennis star secured a place in the Round of 16 after overcoming his resilient opponent in a three-set thriller, 6-2, 6-2, 7-6. However, Daniil Medvedev was struggling with his second serves during his match against the Argentine. Due to the same reason, a disruptive spectator was constantly shouting and heckling in between his first and second serves.

Noting the same, the 27-year-old later came up with a salty message in his on-court interview to hit back at the fan following his massive victory. Medvedev said, “Thanks to all the guys who don’t shout between 1st & 2nd serve. There’s 1 guy, I don’t know if he has a wife.” While pointing at the “pumped up” spectator, Medvedev hilariously added, “I don’t know how she’ll sleep bc he’s so pumped up he’s gonna end the night saying ‘vamo!’ nonstop. I feel sorry for him.”

Here’s how the tennis community reacted to the ATP player’s cheeky response.
