After winning the French Open 2023, Novak Djokovic has been in the limelight for a lot more reasons than just his win. Be it his fans calling him the GOAT, or having record-breaking entries that bypass tennis legends Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. He was even compared to Serena Williams at some point. Despite that, Novak’s composure has surprised his fans a lot.

With everything going on about him and around him, he remained unaffected. In fact, he even continued to post photos and videos of him practicing. One such fun video that he recently posted was him eating grass on the court with an inspirational and witty caption. To which his peer and friend Nick Kyrgios also responded in a fun way.

Novak Djokovic recently posted a video on his Instagram account where he is sitting on a grass court and picking out a strand of grass. He then goes ahead and eats it. Along with that, he added a caption, “Remembering the taste and hungry for more #visualization @wimbledon”.

This video indicates that he is reliving his French Open victory and remembering how he played at Wimbledon the last time.

He also stated in the caption that he is hungry for another title now at Wimbledon 2023. It elicited a hilarious reaction from his friend and rival, Nick Kyrgios. He added, “Please don’t eat the grass in front of me again. But if you win again, I am taking you for some drinks this time”.

Probably this video of him eating the grass was taken by Nick, which is why added a caption like this. Players before the tournament practice together on the court and Nick and Novak might have been just doing just that.

After Novak won the French Open, Nick posted a photo of him sitting on the bench of a clay court and Novak standing right beside him. He also added a caption along with that, which was about congratulating Novak on his win.

He went on to mention that he is happy to give advice to Novak on how he can win on a clay court again. And that he is proud of him and he is there for him anytime he needs. In fact, to make it funnier, he called himself his coach as well. Novak also responded to this post, saying he feels the same and called Nick his ‘brother’.
