Don’t be a bad influence: Eugenie Bouchard warns Nick Kyrgios ahead of teaming up with Coco Gauff
Coco Gauff is ready for the challenge at the US Open mixed doubles, and Eugenie Bouchard has her tips ready. And the latter’s words on the Tennis Channel Live show tell the American teenage sensation exactly what to expect from her partner.
“Look I need to warn Coco that not one word about tennis will be spoken on the court during this mixed doubles. Nick likes to joke around, he likes to trash talk. And it was so fun to play together, so I think it will be entertaining to watch these two,” said Bouchard on the Tennis Channel Live show.
“Don’t be a bad influence,” said Bouchard as her final words on their pairing. Hopefully, the two players will be able to give the crowd what they want; a team-up between tennis’ youngest and tennis’ bad boy will be worth every penny.
