Dominic Thiem was once considered one of the hottest prospects in men’s tennis. The Austrian had grabbed eyeballs when he lifted the US Open crown in 2020, and that was heralded as the moment when the next-gen would really kick off. Moreover, he was ranked as high as Number 3 in the same year. He won several titles before lifting the US Open crown. However, lately, the Austrian has been suffering from a wrist injury which has kept him away from the Tour since June last year.
