Although tennis is back to its normal schedule, normality has not come back completely. The coronavirus pandemic disrupted the complete schedule of 2020 and there is no certainty that the 2021 schedule will go as per plan. Recently, World No.3 Dominic Thiem expressed his views on the issue.

In a recent interview, Thiem emphasized that tennis would relatively be normal in 2021. However, he also believed that there would still be longer breaks due to the pandemic.

“That we can play through a year and I have the results again and continue the trend from 2020 and 2019. I hope that apart from tennis certain normalcy will return in 2021,” said the Austrian player.

Not only players, but even fans also want to get back to a normal routine. They will surely wish that Thiem’s words come true.
