After three failed attempts in Grand Slam finals, Dominic Thiem finally won his first Major at the US Open 2020. The Austrian player broke into headlines and many claimed that he might prove to be a tough challenge for the ‘Big Three’.

World No.4 Dominic Thiem is a player who likes to keep his life private. Fans hardly know that both his parents, Wolfgang Thiem and Karin Thiem, were tennis players. Interestingly, his father has also coached Dennis Novak and Sebastian Ofner and was Thiem’s first coach as well.

Some fans who even know about his parents have no idea that the US Open 2020 winner also has a younger brother named Moritz Thiem, who is also a tennis player. He is 21 at the moment, and Dominic has claimed on numerous occasions that he has learned a lot of things from him.
