‘D**Kheads Never Change’ – Nick Kyrgios’ Rage of Fury After Getting Knocked Out of US Open 2022 Didn’t Sit Well With Infamous Journalist

Yesterday, Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios’ great run at the US Open came to an end at the hands of the Russian tennis star Karen Khachanov. After the match, Kyrgios could not hold his emotions back, as he destroyed two of his rackets in pure frustration.

Since then, the video clip went viral, and many people commented on it. Interestingly, infamous British TV presenter Piers Morgan saw this clip and slammed the Australian player for his antics on the court.

Notably, after Nick Kyrgios shook the hands of his opponent, Khachanov, he went toward his bench and absolutely smashed his two rackets. You can see the video below.

Later, Morgan retweeted that video and, in the caption, he wrote, “D*ckheads never change their spots. Grow up @NickKyrgios – this is pathetic.“

Notably, this was not the first time Morgan slammed Kyrgios for his on-court behavior. During Wimbledon this year, he called the Aussie player a ‘pig’ for eating while talking to the media. Moreover, Morgan called him-out for destroying the class of Wimbledon. He also questioned his tennis prowess, as Morgan felt Kyrgios was not good enough to win a Grand Slam title either.

Back in 2016, Kyrgios and Morgan got themselves into an ugly Twitter fight. At that time, Morgan posted a few insulting tweets. In reply, the Aussie player said, “Eat A D***”. 

Safe to say, they don’t have a great relationship and it does not seem like it will improve in the future.

Kyrgios had a controversial moment at the US Open

During the second-round match, Nick Kyrgios had another controversial moment, as he spit in the middle of the court. He was aiming at his own box, as they were trying to encourage him. After sitting down, he continued his rant and received a code violation for spitting.

Later, he received a $7,500 fine from the organizer for spitting and using obscene language during the match. Notably, in the same match, he complained to the chair umpire that he smelled marijuana from a portion of the crowd. Although the chair umpire denied it, Kyrgios insisted and wanted the umpire to give a warning to the crowd.

Meanwhile, Kyrgios had a great run at the US Open as he reached the quarter-final in singles and the round of 16 in doubles. Earlier, he reached the final of Wimbledon. So, overall, he had a terrific year in terms of his on-court performances; however, controversies are not leaving him anytime soon.
