Jiri Lehecka’s journey to stardom is nothing short of captivating! The Czech tennis sensation is riding high on his Brisbane International title and gearing up for a blockbuster clash with Novak Djokovic at the Australian Open later today. While his electrifying on-court performances steal the spotlight, Lehecka’s off-court life is equally intriguing—and his past relationship with Viktorie Wojcikova adds another fascinating layer to his story. Though their romance has ended, Wojcikova’s life is as unique and dynamic as Lehecka’s rise in tennis. So, who exactly is Viktorie Wojcikova, and what sets her apart?

The Czech tennis sensation has not spoken much about his relationship with Wojcikova, but the couple posted a couple of pictures on their social media. Be it their trip to Rome or Wojcikova’s presence during the Boss Open in 2023, the couple grabbed eyeballs for quite some time. But do you know, that Wojcikova is also known for her participation in Love Island? Yes, you read that right!

What exactly is Love Island? For the unversed, it is a reality series in which a group of men and women participate in a couple of tasks with a partner. The pairs keep changing until they meet – hopefully – the love of their life. The 23-year-old participated in the reality series’ fourth season. Spending around 40 days in the show, she met Tadeas Vilhelm, an entrepreneur, and the two soon started dating. However, just a couple of days earlier, Wojcikova took to her Instagram to share that she has parted ways with Vilhelm and is looking forward to new beginnings in her life. But there’s more to her life than just a reality TV series.

Viktorie is also a tennis player herself and has played a couple of matches on the ITF circuit. As per WTA’s website, she has a win-loss ratio of 5-7. She attended Northwestern State University and pursued a degree in Psychology, besides representing her college team on the courts. Coming to her relationship with Lehecka, the couple started dating somewhere around 2019, from what can be gleaned from their social media. However, they stopped posting enough about each other after June 2023, which hinted at their split.

Speaking to the press at the Australian Open, Djokovic said, “Lehecka is one of the fittest guys on the Tour, and I think his serve is underestimated. [It is] a big weapon. Wins a lot of free points in the first serve.” Continuing further, he added, “The more matches you win, the more confident you are, so I’m sure this kind of matchup comes at the right time for him. I’m sure he feels that he can beat me.”
