Now that he is away from the tennis court owing to his injury woes, Nadal once again decided to venture into the realm of golf. However, this time around, the former world No. 1 picked up his golf club for a philanthropic initiative.

Even at the ongoing US Open, the 37-year-old player’s presence on the hard courts is being sorely missed by the entire tennis realm. However, despite his absence from the Grand Slam event in New York, Rafael Nadal is still inspiring others with his off-court endeavors. The Spanish tennis legend recently participated in the Robinson Classic Golf Tournament for the noble education and sports programs for children.

It came to the public lens after the President of the Balearic Islands, Marga Prohens hailed Nadal’s philanthropic initiatives. She tweeted, “A pleasure to participate in the awarding of the XXXIII Robinson Classic Golf Tournament for the benefit of the @frnadal, for children’s inclusion projects through education and sport. Congratulations to all the winners, especially to @RafaelNadal, the absolute winner.”
The ATP legend is undoubtedly inspiring fans with his off-court endeavors but now the major question arises: When will the ‘King of the Clay’ return to the court?

Nadal’s compatriot drops a major hint about the Spanish Bull’s comeback
Due to his injury woes, the Spaniard has been on the sidelines ever since his participation in the first major event of the season. However, Nadal’s compatriot and former tennis player, David Ferrer hasn’t ruled out the possibility of his return in the forthcoming, Davis Cup.
In an interview with Marca, the Spanish team’s captain dropped a major hint about the 37-year-old player’s comeback. He said, “I hope I get the chance to see Rafa in the squad. It’s not a utopia.”
