After his decision to withdraw from the French Open and prepare for Wimbledon, Andy Murray is determined to repeat history on the English grass. He won the Surbiton trophy and was victorious in the Nottingham Open. Later, he suffered a couple of setbacks in the succeeding tournaments. He faced an early exit in the Queen?s Championship and lost in the Giorgio Armani Classic.

As he enters the tournament with the 39th rank, Murray believes he can still beat top players. Recently he revealed that he is feeling good, physically. Though the British star has not gone beyond the third round in the grand slam since 2017, he commented that he has an advantage even over Novak Djokovic to have decent results in Wimbledon.

He talked about Djokovic and compared himself with other players in the tournament. He said, ?I am one of the best grass court players on the tour. Only Djokovic is more experienced than me in whole of the draw. I am the only one in the draw who has beaten Djokovic here. I need to use that to my advantage.? Further, he displayed a deep self-belief in his abilities in these words, ?There?s no reason why I can?t have a good tournament?.?

This comes after Murray has been reiterating for so long about his third Wimbledon win. Earlier as well, he commented on how he defeated so many top players in previous tournaments. Though experts have called his beliefs unrealistic, Murray prefers to stay optimistic. As he participates in the tournament 15th time, his fans too are hoping for the best results. As Murray prepares to put the third Wimbledon win as icing on the cake, his previous two wins too were historical.
