Tennis players who are rising or are at the top usually have a plethora of offers for sponsors. Different sponsors cover different aspects of the player’s appearance and equipment. Lacoste is an apparel brand that sponsors the 24-time grand slam champion, Novak Djokovic. They also provide clothing for Daniil Medvedev and recently added a French youngster to their roster.

Djokovic is one of the most popular athletes covered by the French company. As he helps give a new stage to the company, they aim to uplift his image at all times. Now, they have another player to look after.

Novak Djokovic’s sponsors add new players to the roster

Arthur Fils is a 19-year-old youngster who is steadily moving up the ATP ladder. The player turned pro last year and is already making rounds in the newspapers. This year, he managed to climb to 36 from 251. Fils would also go on to win the French Open doubles, ATP 250, and a Challenger title. He was even invited to play in the Laver Cup and reached the final of the ATP Next Gen Finals. 

With the improvements he has shown the world this year, there was no doubt that he would find a sparkling sponsor soon. He was added to Lacoste’s roster, accompanying Novak Djokovic and Daniil Medvedev.

Despite going the Novak Djokovic route with his sponsor. Arthur Fils is a big fan of Roger Federer. He adores the Swiss Maestro and has shaped many aspects of his game after the 20-time grand slam champion. His adulation of Federer did not stop him from accepting the kind gesture of Rafael Nadal to train with him earlier this month.
