Athletes need to be active in promoting brands too, as much as on the field. Be it Iga Swiatek or Mirra Andreeva, associating with brands is good publicity. Being the face of a brand also explores one hidden skill in the players, modeling. With a model girlfriend on his side, Taylor Fritz knows how the industry works, and even he endorses top brands.

The American champion is excelling in his career while maintaining a great work-life balance. He also did some thinking about what he could probably be if not he wasn’t a tennis star, and his choice reflects his athletic and charismatic personality.

The ATP 9th seed hails from a proper athletic background. Both his parents were tennis professionals, and Fritz loved the idea of walking in the footsteps of his parents. America’s top seed witnessed the biggest win of his career when he beat Rafael Nadal in the final of the Indian Wells Masters. Immediately after the impressive win, he became one of the youngest ambassadors for luxury watch brand Rolex after clinching the title.

In an interview with ‘Hauteliving,’ Fritz admits that it is vital to express himself as a person other than a tennis star, and what more interesting way to do it than modeling? He said, “I think it?s important to show other things outside of tennis for me personally, to get my name out there.”

Even in 2016, America’s number-one player was featured in L’Uomo Vogue magazine, dedicated to men. The ATP 9th seed is now gearing up for the US Open, as Novak Djokovic halted his Cincinnati Masters run in the quarter-finals. Fritz could not go beyond the third round in any of the Slam this year, and in 2022, he faced a first-round exit at his home Slam. He would be looking forward to rewriting that unimpressive record in his home Grand Slam.
